Gold As An Investment The financial press, and even the network TV shows, have begun reporting the price of gold regularly. For almost twenty years, between 1980 and 2000, the bullion price was never mentioned. There was almost no interest, and the price was either declining or stagnant. Achieving Passive Income Creating completely passive alternate income hasn't been easy, and I can't say that I've achieved total financial freedom yet, but I'm definitely on my way there. I have not been able to completely substitute my work income, but I'm earning enough passive income to pay for the my housing costs, groceries and have a bit of spending money. The desire to generate passive income needs to be pretty powerful because in the beginning it takes quite a while and a large amount of effort to ramp up. But so long as you stay the course, you should be able to at least supplement your w2 income within a several months.
